Trust and Power

The success of a journey depends on its beginning. Only if we have trust can we go on a journey, and we can only go as far as our trust will let us for when we feel unsafe, we stop. For most of us, trust means a feeling of confidence or a sense that no one will hurt us, shame us, or steal from us. And Trust becomes profound faith in us, in others and in the universe. However, I am always imbalance of being overtrusted or fear of betrayed. This workshop is the chance  that I wish to experience with you to find out the power of trust.

1. Background

This workshop is among many other weekly workshops hosted by Life Art for a focused working group of facilitators and practitioners who are using various expressive medium such as drama, dance, painting, music, movements, puppets..etc.. to facilitate individual expressions and development.

The workshop is a practical session facilitated by a pre-registered facilitator who wants to experiment or share a new approach with other facilitators. This weekly workshop is also an environment where we – the facilitators – can renew and relive our experiences as a member of a group, which in turn will keep us fresh and insightful when facilitating other individuals.

The group is strictly preserved for facilitators who share the same working principles, but opened to new learners and anyone who have a keen interest in this field.

2. How to attend

If you wish to attend this event, please send a CV to life.art.vietnam@gmail.com with a brief introduction of yourself, 2 days prior to the actual event. Your CV/email should include:
– Your gender
– Your work experience related to the use of arts in development/therapy
– Your current workplace
– Reasons you are interested in this approach

The workshop is limited to 16 participants so please register early.

If you are a facilitator who practices process-oriented facilitation and uses creative mediums in your facilitation, we’d love to hear from you.
